First meeting 1st November 2018
In the first meeting we had about our live performance we made Adam and ben in charge of organising it because they are very good at getting things done. we also gave other people jobs swell for the performance. Adam and ben asked who would be performing and those not performing would be doing the tech and setting up the pa. during this meeting i decided that i would like to perform as i haven’t actually performed while being on the course due to confidence. we then also put someone else in charge of booking a venue and a date for this performance which hopefully we will find out availability soon. after this we all wrote on the whiteboard what songs we wanted to perform and saw if they were good enough to do, we also then got into groups, this formed our bands, me and millie decided to join together and do some songs with each other.
Second meeting
in this weeks meeting we got told that we have a venue and a date for our performance. we are performing at the jolly farmer in newton abbot on the 12th of December. ben came around to each of the practise rooms to ask what songs people were doing and me and millie decided to do two songs with Craig on piano, ben listened to them and said they were acceptable to perform at the performance.
Third meeting 29th November
in this weeks meeting we found out that we are playing inside the jolly farmer not outside as the weather has not been very good. we are also going over our roles as we have all been given different jobs for preparing for our performance, we also were told that on the 10th, 11th and 12th December we are having full dress rehearsals and doing full run throughs so we have the running order prepared when it comes to the show. we also have to finish our posters and make sure they’re ready for half 3 so Adam and ben can pick a poster to advertise the gig. we also needed to make sure everyone was recorded so we can send then off for our portfolios.
